Studioless (“we”, “us”) operates studioless.co.uk, an AI-powered professional headshot service. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What We Collect

When you use our service, we collect:

  • Your name and email address (provided at checkout)
  • Selfie photographs you upload
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details)
  • Basic usage data (pages visited, browser type) via cookies

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Process your order and generate your headshots
  • Send you your completed headshots by email
  • Communicate about your order (confirmations, delivery, support)
  • Improve our service

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your photos to train AI models for other customers.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your uploaded selfies are stored in encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). They are processed by our AI partner (Astria AI) solely for generating your headshots. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

5. Data Retention

  • Uploaded selfies: deleted within 30 days of delivery
  • Generated headshots: retained for 90 days, then deleted
  • Email and name: retained for accounting and support purposes
  • Payment records: retained as required by UK tax law (typically 6 years)

6. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request data portability
